ABOUT US
The Vietnamese Culture and Science Association proudly presents Viet Cultural Fest, a one-day cultural festival in Houston, Texas, founded in 2018 by three young Vietnamese Americans with the aim of reconnecting with their culture and uplifting the voices of Houston's Vietnamese community. The inaugural event, held in September 2019, welcomed over 6,000 attendees. After a four-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Viet Cultural Fest returned in September 2023, drawing a crowd of over 10,000 festival-goers.
Viet Cultural Fest's mission is to preserve and promote the beauty of the Vietnamese culture while establishing an annual tradition that welcomes people of all backgrounds and ages in Houston and its surroundings.
Viet Cultural Fest will center around the theme “Dragon and Fairy,” Lac Long Quan - Au Co, featuring cultural exhibitions from Vietnam's three main regions: North, Central, and South. Explore a rich tapestry of visually captivating displays, thrilling competitions, authentic cuisine, cultural entertainment, traditional games, and interactive activities. Beyond the vibrant cultural showcases, VCF will feature numerous Vietnamese food booths, health screenings, civic education opportunities, community partner booths, and displays from Vietnamese-owned businesses.
Viet Cultural Fest promises a day of family-friendly fun and cultural immersion. Join us in celebrating the vibrant Vietnamese culture together!
