Tâm T. Nguyễn is the Chairman and Co-Owner of Advance Beauty College, a second-generation Vietnamese American entrepreneur whose family’s journey, from war torn Vietnam to building an educational legacy in the heart of Orange County, California, embodies the enduring strength and spirit of the Vietnamese diaspora. Born in Vietnam and raised in Little Saigon, Tâm has transformed his family’s refugee story into a mission of empowerment, resilience, and community uplift.

Under his leadership, Advance Beauty College has grown into a national model for vocational training, equipping over 50,000 graduates, primarily women and immigrants, with the skills to achieve financial independence and pursue the American dream. The school’s success has helped fuel the rise of Vietnamese Americans as leaders in the beauty and nail salon industry, a powerful symbol of how cultural identity and entrepreneurship can intersect to transform lives and entire communities.
